Our Story
AM Scholastic started when Aavan realized a lot of students could benefit significantly through one-on-one tutoring. He saw this first hand as he had been tutoring kids – the students saw meaningful increases in their mathematics performance as they attended his tutoring sessions. However, many students cannot access this kind of coaching either because of lack of resources or because they cannot find the right tutor. Aavan knew several high school students who could have tutored these kids on a voluntary basis. This led him to try and create a platform for connecting students in need with those who had the skills and wanted to help.
As this initiative expands, the team at AM Scholastic hopes to have a meaningful positive impact on kids globally.

Aavan M
Founder
Aavan is a high school student at Acton Boxborough Regional High School. He is a passionate tutor and is dedicated to helping students learn and grow. Aavan has been tutoring mathematics to kids in grades 4-10 and enjoys seeing his students make progress in school.
